MQB EVO Intercooler & Boost Hoses (Mk8/8.5)

Description

RacingLine’s MQB EVO Intercooler kit gives the Mk8/8.5 Golf R and GTI and the Audi A3/S3 8Y a 96% volume increase over the factory cooler. A 70mm-deep plate-and-bar core with matched boost hoses keeps intake temperatures under control run after run.

Key Features:

• 96% more volume: 19,404,000mm³ against 9,895,200mm³ for the OE cooler, the headroom a hard-driven EA888 Gen 4 needs before heat soak costs you power.
• 70mm deep core: Extra-tall internal tubes on a deeper core than the 60-65mm typical of aftermarket rivals, for real heat capacity rather than a bigger badge.
• Enlarged 70mm ports: Inlet and outlet grow from 60mm to 70mm, with cast end tanks and internal flow guides spreading air across the full core depth.
• Matched boost hoses included: Multi-ply, internally wired and moulded with internal steps for laminar flow, supplied with four stainless Mikalor clamps.
• Designed for this engine: Developed from the ground up for the 2.0 TSI Gen 4 rather than adapted, which is how the volume was maximised in the available space.
• Consistent power delivery: Controls IAT so the gains from your tune keep repeating instead of falling away on the second and third run.

Note that light trimming of the plastic radiator carrier is needed to clear the larger core; this is minimal on Golf Mk8 and can be more involved on other MQB EVO models.
