Mk8 GTI / A3 8Y Turbo Inlet System

Description

The RacingLine Turbo Inlet System clears the restrictive factory inlet path on the Mk8 GTI and Audi A3 8Y. A billet elbow and reinforced silicone hose take the inlet bore from 62.5mm to 76mm.

Key Features:

• 76mm inlet bore: Up 13.5mm on the factory 62.5mm part, opening up flow the standard tapered plastic inlet throttles.
• Matched two-part kit: Supplying the elbow and hose together is what allows both to be enlarged this far.
• Reinforced silicone hose: Internally stepped for smooth transitions and built to resist deformation under boost and underbonnet heat.
• Billet alloy elbow: CNC-machined T6-6061 aircraft grade aluminium with a Viton sealing O-ring, 80mm outer diameter on a 2mm wall.
• 30-minute install: Hand tools only, and fully reversible.

Note this is the GTI/A3 version with the 76mm bore; the Golf R and S3 8Y take the larger 84mm kit.
