Description
The RacingLine Turbo Inlet System opens up the restrictive factory inlet path on the Mk8/8.5 Golf R and Audi S3 8Y. A larger-diameter alloy elbow and reinforced silicone hose take the inlet bore from 74mm to 84mm.
Key Features:
- 84mm inlet bore: Up from 74mm on the factory part, a 10mm gain that releases airflow the standard tapered plastic inlet chokes off.
- Matched two-part kit: Selling the elbow and hose together is what allows both to be enlarged this far, rather than one part limiting the other.
- Reinforced silicone hose: Internally stepped for smooth transitions and built to resist deformation under boost pressure and underbonnet heat.
- Billet alloy elbow: CNC-machined from T6-6061 aircraft grade aluminium with a Viton sealing O-ring, 88mm outer diameter on an ultra-thin 2mm wall.
- Finished to last: Polished then gloss black anodised, so it still looks right years into service.
- 30-minute install: Fits with hand tools and reverses back to standard whenever you want.
