The 2.5in Lift system for 2014 2500 Rams features more than just basic spacers. Dodge designed the front coil springs with a large bow to increase vehicle stability and handling. Unlike other flat spacers on the market, Fabtech’s angled spacers retain this important feature preserving the factory ride characteristics. The front shocks are replaced with longer length Fabtech Dirt Logic 2.25 Stainless Steel shocks to allow for full suspension travel while improving the damping of the front suspension. Extended length bump stops are included in this kit to prevent the coil springs from binding at full compression while also eliminating Trac Bar interference. This kit can be removed to return the vehicle to stock. Estimated installation time – 1.5 hrs. No drilling or welding required. Includes rear 2.25 Dirt Logic Stainless Steel shocks.

Fabtech’s new Coil Spring Suspension Systems for late model Ram 2500 trucks will provide a smoother on road ride than factory with the ability to handle heavy loads and rough offroad use. As an industry exclusive Fabtech utilizes front coil springs with a straight spring design and patent pending angled lower mounts that produces a very smooth ride compared to stock. The factory springs are a high rate bowed style that naturally rides stiff with an overactive response to varying road conditions. Fabtech’s straight design has a lower spring rate that provides a smoother ride yet still retains the factory carrying capacity of the vehicle when required. No other Ram suspension system can offer this. The Fabtech rear coil springs on 2500’s are a dual stage design. The first stage provides a supple ride quality when unloaded. The second stage provides the ability to handle factory carrying capacity loads when required giving the best of both worlds. The combination of Fabtech’s front straight coil springs and rear dual stage coil springs will provide a noticeable ride quality improvement of the vehicle compared to stock.

This high quality system has been designed to retain the factory load carrying capacity and ride of the vehicle with minimal parts. The stock coil springs are retained with angular steel spacers to retain the factory front spring bow. This is an important feature as Chrysler designed the bow to aid in their unique alignment specs and ride quality. Flat spacers do not provide this. The rear coil springs are also retained with steel spacers keeping the weight carrying capacity of the vehicle intact. A Fabtech exclusive on this system is the steel front bump extensions. They will not blow out like extra long urethane bump stops found in other aftermarket suspensions. No chance of spring and shock damage with the Fabtech’steel extensions. The factory Radius Arms are relocated with heavy duty 1/4” thick steel brackets for proper caster with the 5” lift. Super stout front and rear Track Bar drop brackets center the axles under the vehicle with the new ride height. The 5” Basic System will clear 37” tall tires and includes front and rear 2.25 Dirt Logic Stainless Steel shocks. Estimated installation time – 4.5 Hours. 10 holes to drill for installation. No Welding Required.
