These Sway-A-Way shocks are designed to be used with an aftermarket upper control arm and allow for up to 1a*? more wheel travel on both 2WD and 4WD models. The multi-seal carrier includes redundant seals to keep even the smallest dirt and debris out and to keep the specifically formulated 7wt fully synthetic shock oil in. Viton O-rings ensure a leak free seal at the most extreme temperatures. The steel cylinders are coated with a two-step zinc plated finish designed to withstand the harshest of environments. Sway-A-Waya**s new 2.5 Series Mid-Speed Compression Adjusters mount directly into the remote reservoir. Offering 16 clicks of resolution, the compression adjuster can go from the unrestricted, fully open (soft) position, to the fully closed (hard) position a** offering a significant increase in damping force, in just two full turns of the GF polymer adjuster knob. Rebound damping will remain unaffected regardless of the setting and valving combination chosen. Constructed from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, the red anodized and laser etched housing is built to withstand the harshest of environments with excellent corrosion resistance. The metering piston is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum to provide the best service life for high speed applications.
