The VMP Boost-Lok gasket prevents boost loss due to the fold-over issue common in high boost situations with the factory gasket. Direct replacement for the black Ford gasket 7R3Z-9H486-AA Double-hump design on the bottom and top surfaces of the gasket prevents fold-overHolds high boost without leaking. More dimensionally accurate than stock to facilitate easier installation into the machined receiver groove in the lower intake. Required when installing aftermarket camshafts. The top port must be referenced to vacuum and boost as the boost source will close the BPV since it no longer has a return spring. The bottom port is no longer used. Specially modified BPV opens at very low vacuum levels. Required for proper idle quality and tuning with L&M cams. Necessary upgrade when using most aftermarket camshafts. Direct replacement Bypass valve for Eaton superchargers such as the VMP 2.3L TVS for Cobra, GT500, and 5.0L. Fits Roush superchargers. Direct replacement Bypass valve for eaton superchargers such as the VMP 2.3L TVS for Cobra, GT500, and 5.0L. Fits Roush superchargers. Also fits stock M122 and M112 superchargers found on GT500 and Cobra. Fits VMP Gen3 and Gen3R for GT500 and coyote. Fits Odin supercharger. When installed top port must be referenced to vacuum after the throttle body or vacuum and boost. The bottom port may be referenced to the CAI before the throttle body or left open to atmosphere. If your BPV stays open and you drop boost it should be refenced to a source that sees boost and vacuum such as the line going to the fuel rail pressure sensor.
